My latest work seen in the Gulf Times yesterday. A collaboration with Fitch to bring this portrait series to life for the 2013 Student Convocation. Arabic calligraphy was used to sketch around the faces of the portraits I photographed and we had nearly 400 students this year!
This month I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph my first Pakistani wedding in Qatar thanks to this beautiful couple Myriam and Afzal. What an explosion of colour! This is where being a female photographer comes in handy, as I am able to capture a moment, unstaged while the bride is busy getting ready. But what I love just as much, is creating unique environmental portraits when the Bride and Groom are ready. It’s extra special if you can do this at Sunset! The dusk before the dawn of a new day and happy future for the newly weds. I hope you enjoy this small photo gallery!
Here are some clues, it Ryhmes with Corea, and it is something we have all waited and longed for in Qatar for a long time now! And from what I have seen after shooting today it has been worth the wait! Watch this space for some sneak peek pictures tomorrow!
